Everyday Card with Variety

Big Shot· Cards· Embossing

For this project I wanted to mix it up and do something a little different. You may be busy making our holiday cards that you want a break to make some everyday cards to keep your card stash fresh.

This project is very versatile and can be made with a couple different greetings. For the example I used a sympathy stamp however you could easily use a birthday or thinking of you, etc.

The color scheme I am featuring is perfect plum with very vanilla.

On a smaller piece of cardstock stamp with the I love lace background stamp in crumb cake then stamp the flower from blooming with kindness stamp set in perfect plum ink.

Next, layer that onto a perfect plum card stock. Then take a very vanilla piece and emboss with the filigree embossing folder from the holiday catalog. Layer that on to a base cardstock such as perfect plum. Follow with putting the flower card stock in the corner.

To finish tie a bow with the silver 1/8 ribbon and just attached it with a glue dot.

For the greeting I used the ‘with sympathy’ stamp from the stamp set teeny tiny wishes and stamp in perfect plum. I also punched that out with the word window punch then layered that onto my modern label punch. To add flair put a dimensional in the back add pop.
