Creative Inking Blog Hop- Mothers Day

Welcome to the Creative Inking blog hop featuring mothers day.

For my card this month I am using the stamp set Mother's love that is featured in the Occasions catalog.

 

I stamped that in the memento black ink. For the two-step stamp I used elegant eggplant, I stamped that in the ink and then stamped it off on scratch paper then stamped it onto my white card stock. For a littler image. I layered that onto a piece of Elegant Eggplant cardstock and then on to a piece of black cardstock for the next layer.

 

I took a piece of Wisteria Wonder cardstock and ran it through the big shot using the Spring flowers embossing folder and I only went half way down. Then on the bottom I stamped Happy Mothers day using the stamp set crazy about you. On the edges I stamped flowers from the Mother's Love stamp set in Elegant Eggplant.

Then I layered that onto a piece of elegant eggplant cardstock and then tied a ribbon around it using the organza ribbon. I then added this to the white card base 

For the final step I used the two-way glue pen and added some glitter to my flowers to make it sparkle.

Just a quick easy card but giving it a little shimmer with the glitter and ribbon.
